Lumiscaphe and Spatial extend their agreement for the software Patchwork 3D Community

In order to provide the most complete experience possible to users of the free Patchwork 3D Community software, Lumiscaphe has extended its existing partnership with Spatial for the use of 3D ACIS Modeler. This allows the import of many CAD file formats (CATIA, NX, Solidworks, Step, Pro Engineer, IGES, and Sat) into the authoring software. Computer graphic designers thus have a greater choice to compose their scenes from various modeling software, and greater freedom in their creation process.

ACIS from Spatial is a proven solution for more than 350 applications and meets a variety of needs from Design to Engineering. ACIS provides software developers and manufacturers with 3D modeling.

The Patchwork 3D software allows the creation of interactive or static photo-realistic visuals. The user adds in real-time aspect properties on 3D and CAD models such as materials, labels, lights, and sun settings, all in an HDR environment.  With a few clicks, the user can play and get billions of configurations of his model.

This partnership thus responds to the initial feedback from the use of Patchwork 3D Community.

All the new features are to be found on the website https://www.patchwork3d.com
