The vocational training center of Valmieras Tehnikums in Latvia utilizes new educational technologies to add up-to-date content in upper-secondary VET programs as well as to create new life-long learning courses in four priority fields: “Mechanics and metalwork”, “Mechatronics”, “Programing” and “Telemechanic and logistics”. This unique methodology and advanced curriculum includes the involvement of local businesses.

Actual case studies and prototyping of usable details or solutions will be integral. Thus, professional practice studies will be more closely linked to trends and novelties in the industry.
